Restaurant Mana is a creative place to eat in Manchester and is the city’s first Michelin Star restaurant since 1977. Located a short distance from the Northern Quarter of the city, this is an easily accessible place to eat in the Manchester. The word Mana is the inspiration for the restaurant. Mana means ‘the power of elemental forces of nature, embodied in an object or person.’
The changing of the seasons influences the range of food available, with food prepared fresh everyday. Head Chef, Simon Martin believes that the restaurant reflects his personality, and allows him to be as creative as he wants. The restaurant boasts an open kitchen, where customers can watch as their orders are prepared. A range of dining experiences are available, from the a la carte menu through to a taster menu. Customers are provided with a range of hand-selected wine; the wine compliments the food menu perfectly.
Open Wednesday to Saturday for lunch (12-4), and dinner (7-late), there is something here for everyone. The menu caters for any dietary requirements that are specified upon booking your reservation. However, it should be noted that the restaurant does not cater for vegans.
